In addition to our involvement in new builds, Seable&Co is actively engaged in the refit market, collaborating with renowned refit shipyards. Our refit scope encompasses the entire exterior space, enhancing all elements that contribute to a relaxing and enjoyable onboard experience. This includes swimming pools, which have become standard on new-built yachts, particularly in the >80m segment, and are increasingly featured in refit projects for existing yachts.
Our team expertly handles all aspects of pool refits. This includes finishing with stone or mosaic, and addressing visible elements such as lights, jets, and grills, as well as the actual pool equipment. Our refit scope can also extend to enlarging existing pools or creating entirely new ones, whether installed on top of the deck or integrated within it.
Our integrated approach ensures the delivery of comprehensive outdoor areas within reasonable timeframes. We have completed numerous successful refit projects, including:
Lürrsen - Carinthia VII, 97m - new pool
Oceanco - H3, 105m - new pool
Damen Yachting - Here Comes the Sun, 89m - extension of the pool
Monaco Marine – Nautilus, 73m – new pool
Currently, Seable&Co is involved in the refit of four yachts, where we are either installing new pools or refitting existing ones. Additionally, we have begun the pre-engineering phase for three more new pools on existing yachts, planning for future refit projects. We look forward to sharing more details and results as soon as these projects are ready.
Our innovative equipment skid approach optimizes space usage and shortens lead times by bringing pre-installed and pre-tested pool equipment on board. The pool itself can be integrated into the steel construction and outfitted by Seable&Co, or delivered as a turnkey solution in GRP. Using proven details and principles accelerates the process for everyone involved.

During pre-engineering, Seable&Co typically collaborates with the yard to review critical aspects such as pool heat-up and filling times, the position and shape of the pool tank(s), and the sizing and routing of pipework. We also address the demarcation, space reservation, and positioning of equipment and built-in parts. Finally, we propose various finishing options and features to enhance the outdoor experience and relaxation on board for the client.
Currently a few new refits are in progress, we will update you as soon as they materialize.
